In a shocking report by The Washington Post, we have discovered why the cereal companies are seeing a decline in sales. Believe it or not, it is because millennials believe that it is an inconvenient breakfast. This wouldn’t be because they can’t just grab it from a box and go. It’s not because it’s not microwavable either.
The reason millennials are not purchasing and eating cereal any longer and believe it to be an inconvenience breakfast is because of the cleanup that is required afterward. That’s right ladies and gentlemen millennials are too lazy to even wash a cereal bowl and spoon. Many would believe that this is a result of technology, and they are probably right.
In this day and age, we have technology to help us do everything from find directions to wiping our asses. I would say the population of millennials that do still eat cereal either has a dishwasher at home, or they still live with Mom and Dad, who for some reason still clean up after them. The latter is probably the truth seeing how the majority of millennials live with their parents well into their late twenties.
