Cop Body Slams 12 Year Old Child Face First on the Concrete

In the story, Texas Police uses excessive force. Now, this may or may not surprise you, and this may or may not be shocking to you but what shocked me was that it was once again excessive force used upon a child at school. The excessive force was used to slammed 12-year-old Janissa Valdez onto the concrete after she became involved in a dispute with a fellow classmate.

She was suspended for two days following the incident on March 29, but has yet to return to school.

This 12-year-old was body slammed onto the concrete by the school security officer, Joshua Kehm after she supposedly threatened him by kicking him. After reviewing the video, you can clearly see that her legs never came up and that she never did, in fact, kick this man. The poor girl does not even remember the incident due to injuries suffered after being slammed onto the concrete face first.

Janissa Valdez, 12, suffered a swollen bruise above her right eye after the officer slammed her face on the brick floor.

The security officer has been let go on paid leave at this time pending an investigation by the San Antonio school board and police officials. What would probably be shocking is if they actually take actions and force this officer to face consequences, not just get a paid vacation.
