Nikes and Kool-Aid Won’t Help You Ride a Comet

If you are one of those individuals, who loves to stare at the stars, then you are going to love what I have to tell you next. For the next month, Earth will be passing through the tale of the famous and notorious Haley’s Comet. Haley’s Comet, of course, is only set to pass once more in the average person lifetime. This beautiful sight is a spectacle to behold and a site to see.

The tail of Haley’s Comet will put off a beautiful display of meteors. This meteor shower will light up the skies for just about 30 days coming up real soon. Whatever you do make sure that you do not fall victim to religious groups that ask you to give them all of your money while wearing Nikes and drinking kool aid in a circle, in a field. No matter what type of tennis shoes you’re wearing, you’ll not be able to run down the comet I promise you. Most likely the kool aid will be poison. These are things that have been learned by other comet phenomena in the past such as the Hail Bob comet.

So if you’re one of those individuals who truly loves skyline spectacles such as the aurora borealis, solar and lunar eclipses, and meteor showers than you will love what the next month has in store. Amateur skywatchers will have their telescopes out. This is a perfect time to take that trip out into the country and get away from all the city lights. If you’re lucky enough to live in the country, just walk out into your backyard pull up a seat and stare at the sky.
