We’re all familiar with Megalodon thanks to shark week. Well, hopefully, we all are after all it has been plastered across the internet and TV for about a year now at least. The megalodon, of course, is a giant shark that lived in prehistoric times. It would have been the largest if it’s kind and able to consume whales amongst many other animals that we consider large.
Now the largest sea dwelling crocodile ever been discovered was found in the middle of the Tunisian desert. I’m not sure what is stranger, that the remains of a 30 foot long 3-ton crocodile we found or that they were found in the middle of a desert. Further proves what used to covered in water and that earth is on it’s way to becoming like Mars and other planets.
The new creature is named the Machinosaurus Rex. However, this guy was tiny in comparison to its freshwater cousin the sarcosuchus imperator who grew up to 40 feet long and could weigh as much as eight metric tons. The average human being would not have even been as big as the tip of the tail have one of these giants. Go during the Jurassic period of Earth’s history these animals might not have been considered so giant.
