Very Rare Albino Whale Makes Showing in Baja California

In shocking news that grabs everybody and warms the heart a little bit a rare albino whale was recently spotted. This whale has been dubbed by the nickname Gallon of Milk. This whale was recently spotted off of the coast of what is called Baja California by Mexico. The female albino whale is a majestic sight to behold. The albino effect is brought on due to a lack of melanin production.

This causes very little pigment or virtually no color. There are only four known White humpback whales in the world, and this happens to be one of them. Humpback whales, of course, were hunted to the brink of extinction by men with giant whaling vessels. They were sought after for their skins and hides often having their carcasses just discarded it off to the side. This horrible effect brought on by man nearly brought this amazing species to the brink of extinction.

Thankfully a Star Trek movie brought awareness to the humpback whales situation creating a movement that helped to preserve the life of these beautiful mammals. We have to take care of what we have here on our planet. If we start to take it for granted, it will not be here for future generations to enjoy. The splendors of our world are a paradise that is deserved by all. Not just those here and now. Check out the amazing photos of this beautiful albino humpback whale!
