You Won’t Believe What the Director of the FBI Just Said

At the Kenyon College Center for Study of American Democracy the FBI director recently made a statement during a Q&A that grabbed the attention of privacy activists around the world. The FBI often times says that surveillance cameras affect law enforcement’s ability to do their job. During the conference the FBI director point it out law enforcement agencies have to battle to obtain information from companies such as Apple referring to the San Bernardino iPhone 5 case.

FBI Director James Comey said this week at Ohio's Kenyon College that "I saw something in the news, so I copied it. I put a piece of tape — I have obviously a laptop, personal laptop — I put a piece of tape over the camera. Because I saw somebody smarter than I am had a piece of tape over their camera."

The remark that got everybody going was when the FBI director said this.

“I saw something in the news, so I copied it. I put a piece of tape — I have obviously a laptop, personal laptop — I put a piece of tape over the camera. Because I saw somebody smarter than I am had a piece of tape over their camera.”

Let’s hope that the FBI director doesn’t watch somebody jump off a bridge that’s smarter than him because well he might do that too. Maybe he’ll see somebody run a red light that’s smarter than him and he’ll do that too. Too bad he doesn’t see somebody plant a cannabis plant and smoke a joint that’s smarter than him, maybe he would do that too. I mean really if you don’t think America is in trouble just look at the kind of people that are running our country! Thanks Obama!
